MM Case deal on evilbay

I was checking out ebay last night and typed in musicman. Lo and behold there was a brand new 30th anni. Stingray case. Never used. Love the color. Wanted one when I saw them. I don't have a Sting Anni. but I like the case. It doesn't come with any case candy. I've asked about buying such case without luck.

A little money on BIN. Good deal? If it's anything like my LE case, I think it'll be great. I can't wait to check it out. The listing must have been late, cause I can't believe I got it with a BIN!

Looking at the completed auctions, I would say you got a really good deal.

They are very pretty cases, although I think I will also get a regular plastic one that I can beat up more without worrying about it.

There isn't much to the case candy, really.

There's also a guy selling a LE blue case for a Blue Dawn.

I was thinking of buying it, but instead I decided to just order a blue case with a Blue Dawn bass.

Yep, I agree with using different cases. I have gone as far as keeping the Sterling with me at all travel times. None of the throwing cases together at the end of a gig. BUT... the case holds it together so well. The 30th case will be used, but taken care of.

When I saw the price, I had to do it. Someone on this MB might need or want it. I've seen where people have bought the bass (30th) and didn't know it came with a case. If that's the case (pun intended), I'll trade for a really good case.

Damn, I woulda had two cases coming if I saw it! Looks like Mingus woulda beat me to it, though!

I should have the case soon.... but I have soul searched. I decided if someone here bought a 30th and somehow got screwed on the case from the dealer, they can try and find a way to make a trade somehow. Great case for great case (new for new) type of trade. The BIN was, I thought, stoopid cheap for that case.

I'll see what shape it's in when I get it and go from there.
