That's a darned good question. Mine is, amazingly, done and on it's way. I had Pete order it at the earliest possible moment...NAMM in January...only three months turnaround!

I don't think I've heard of an EBMM being completed faster than that, at least not since I've been around (2005).

That suggests the order window might stay open relatively late...into late summer, perhaps.

But what do I know? Bupkis, that's what. Call your dealer and have them check on current status of the production buckets.

That is a good question. I don't think anybody knows for sure right now, but BP has said he'll give us a heads up a few weeks before the window closes. I'm dying to see the pics of adouglas's LE Bongo because I know a blue dawn single H would make me very happy. I'm torn between that and the mysterious possibilities of the BFR Bongo, and I can't afford both.

Should arrive at Pete's Friday, unless of course he's just yanking my chain.

I live about an hour from his shop, so no extra torture waiting to have him ship it to me.

I'll be sure to take a few contingency photos on delivery. Better photos will follow once I've got them done.

Howzabout you drop a small deposit to get it on order and pay the rest when the bass is ready?

That's one of the...well, about the only..."nice" things about having to wait months for delivery. Gives you time to collect some scratch to pay for it.

Man that Sterling is exactly what I ordered! Cannot wait to get it and try it out since it will be my first multiple pickup EB.

Whoops! My bad, after looking closer, I noticed it is a Stingray not a Sterling. Oh well, that did not take away any of my enthusiasm!

*clears throat* The above pictured bass is a Stingray.
    edit: you corrected yourself.

Any pics of an HH Bongo Unlined Fretless Blue Dawn yet?

Oh, and why is there no "Limited Edition" thingy on the back on that one like on the other LEs?
