    Very cool. It's not a GC issue (since we don't have those up in canuckistan), but I picked up a new Sterling in a music shop, and started playing. The G string was down to a D (or so..), so I tuned it up - got halfway there and the string popped right out of the tuning peg. It looked like whoever strung up the bass hadn't even wrapped the string around the peg...around a 3rd of the tuner was actually being touched by the string.


    I told the guy at the counter he should fire whoever does his setups and he said it came right from the factory like that...seems kinda fishy to me.

    For what it's worth, they had a HH SR4 next to it on the wall that was immaculate. I'd trade my brother for that bass.
