    Y'know what's really cool?

I love it when you sound so good you get chills, even during a band practice.

This whole music thing, when it's really clicking, is just magical. I've spent absurd amounts of money on it, made ridiculously little back on my investment.

    It's worth every last penny.

I had one of those nights last night. We're just hammering through the set list, preparing for an upcoming gig...

but DAYUM, it sounds great. Feeling the afterglow even now.

I love my Bongo in a very nearly unhealthy, overshare kind of way.

    That is all.

I know how ya feel. I can't wait till Sunday's Church Service so I put her back in the mix and feel the power. It sounds so good in a gig setting.

An hour of practice before then 1 1/2 hr of playing time justs seems to short......

Tiff - you should try a Dragonfly - basically a stethoscope that suction cups to the back of the bass. No electricty - doesn't sound half bad. I use one in my office.

all that prep for a such a short performance doesn't seem fair, but worth it when everything goes right...
