    ernie ball wah

    Hello,

Anyone tried the new ErnieBall Wah pedal on bass yet? Or is it not even out?

I'm looking for a new wah not that I got my Bongo, I'm a bit fed up with my 105Q.

Currently looking towards Morley, and just noticed theres a new one for 2007 by EB.

I'm also looking for on that would double as a volume pedal, I know Morley does one, but will the EB one also do it? I know the current EB vol pedal is highly praised.

Might be a little OT, but it will be for bass so..

I asked the same thing a few weeks ago, but got no answer...just ridicule for using a wah on a bass.

I also want to replace my 105Q that keeps proving unreliable...stupid switches.

I've been wondering about this as well but I've been too afraid to ask. Those demonstration videos definitely got me interested.

I have used it with a bass at the NAMM show. Considering it was only for a few minutes and not at a loud volume, it seemed to work just fine. However, I will get an answer from our engineering department and get back to you guys to find out if it is recommended. I personally have no need for a wah with a bass and couldn't imagine ever using it in a gig for more than 30 seconds.
To answer your other questions, it won't function as a volume pedal, and they should be hitting the streets in just a few months. The integrity of our product is very important and it takes a lot of R & D to make sure the quality is maintaned. It will be the best Wah pedal on the market.

    Can I Ask This Here?

I think I posted something similar to this on another forum, but I forgot to watch it...
SO.....will, EBMM be making more pedals after the wah becomes an instant classic?

So what's the word on the EB Wah?

It will look nice side by side with my EBVPJr.

I have a Dunlop Bass Wah that rarely gets used. It soulds great with bass but beyond using it to jam on long song endings, I really can't seem to find places to fit it in without sounding annoying.
