    i forgot to put in the post that since i had driven that far i bought it anyway....after all it was only €70.

    so
    yes it sound,plays and feels like it would cost 70 lids

    yes it is really hard to play a V sitting down

    and thanks to BP i think i have found that new toilet seat i was looking for

    its called a keiper as in keep her......you just got to laugh

    the Bongo quest goes on!!!

    Flying V tip: Get some non-stick material from a store (the kind you put on your kitchen counter for dishes. black mesh looking stuff) and cut a thin strip and glue it (or double-side tape it) along the part of the V where your knee goes. It sticks a whole lot better and is dirt cheap to do.

    Wait, are mods legal to discuss if they're someone else's brand of guitar?

    You know, it took Gibson's "Futura" series (flying v, explorer, moderne) something like 25 years to actually become somewhat accepted. I think the Bongo is moving along faster!

    I haven't heard many Gibson fans talk up the Explorer. It's got the same gutless pickups as the Vee, which is a shame, since the Ex is a good looking bass that could benefit from a pair of TB Plus pups (or even better - Bongo pups and preamp )
