    Question Battery Compartment

I have noticed that most batteries that I try to use in my battery compartment will not go in all of the way. I have tried Duracell and Energizer and they just will not go all of the way in. The battery looks the same and looks the same size but it seems that it will not go all of the way in.

Has anyone come across the same problem?

Should I change the battery compartment?

I'm afraid of breaking the battery compartment, when a battery works it slides all the way in very easily and then other batteries just won't go. They slide in but just don't make the contact at the bottom. Then you have a hard time closing the battery compartment.

I'll have to try a little muscle on it, the worst that could happen is having to replace the compartment!
