    i peeked through the bfr picture thread and this bass.. the one made for the bash.. it really caught my eye!

    the weird part is that i couldnt take my eyes of the flame on the neck!
    never mind the lovely quilt, and the all over hot bass! that neck.. its an eye magnet! neodymium!!

    so, does this mean im a flame guy or a neck guy?

    less relief / flatter = lower action
    more relief / bow = higher action
    do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
    also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

    I held that bass.

    It was hard to keep from drooling all over it.

    The body was great, but the neck was REALLY special.

    That is one good looking neck. I think I'd prefer it on a standard body though. I'm not sure I like the "boutique" stylings on the EBMM bass lines.

    Sterling HS, satin finish figured walnut top, flame maple neck like the one shown above, throw in a brazilian rosewood fingerboard and it would be my dream bass. Sorry for derailment, these BFR instruments are probably going to cause me to go into a great deal of debt at some point.
