eeeps, i assume they do, argh i hate having to take off the neck and put it back on. i mean its not going to **** up the bass but that means restringing and all that. I think i should prob leave it till tomorro though cause im just after making a trus rod adjustment and should give it time to settle???

Yikes! I would have thougt it impossible to break a driver while turning the truss wheel The wheel should be adjusted one or two hole positions at a time.

Perhaps contact Customer Service for advice before proceding further.

Man, you might consider taking it to a Luthier/Pro to fix the screwdriver issue and give her a good set-up.

You know what, id normally go by your advice, but the way i see it i had the problem almost sorted.I had already given it one quarter turn last night and it was nearly there so i think another 8th turn woulda sorted it unfortunatly the screwdriver wasnt up to the task. Like i didnt do anything wrong and i knew what i was doing after reading up on it, besides theres only one way to learn these things properly and thats doding it yourself.

What a mess, I feel for you!

    1 remove strings
    2 Remove neck
    3 remove screw driver piece

3b Maybe remove truss wheel, clean threads and lube them a bit. (this I would do)

    4 put neck back
    5 restring
6 turn wheel a little more with a good screw driver
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

    Stingray 5 Classic, coral red
Bongo 5 H, Dargie Delight, in some cave somewhere...
Bongo 5 HH, Black w/ rosewood neck
Heinz The Wonder Bass, going back to Jack...
