Thumbs up OT: I get to be Show & Tell today!!!!

So today I get to bring in the doghouse to my daughter's grade 1 class and be her "Show & Tell" today, so I figure we'll do a rousing version of Jingle Bells

might even bring my li'l practice amp and haul the Bongo along to make the teacher even that much more happy

Have fun, I loved show and tell with my kids classes. Except the last time , I got to show my rash but I didn't get to tell much about it...

well, it went great, the Jingle Bells choir was huge and some of the kids actually got close with mentioning that it looked like a big cello! and when I mentioned Rock and Roll as one of the places you play this thing there was an uproar with first graders saying "yeah! I love Rock and Roll!!!"

then I played some Elvis-style ditty and they were hooked

and Fly, not yet as long as I get up in the morning and help get the chittlins going and fed and dressed she doesn't entirely mind the late night Kitchen Table mixdowns

You know there are always a couple of kids in the back of the room with stern faces and arms crossed whispering to each other how " they could have played it better"
