I guess I should say that he shared the table with me .. while we were eating lunch. He was eating something out of a can and I was picking apart a veggie sandwich. The diet is working well for him .. he looks mighty handsom

Ben, Sorry I missed you...I left early (Fri night), only to come home to a major trauma (I'm really glad I was here to assist)...for the record, standing on a basketball should be left to professionals ONLY...(my 11-year-old never got the memo) So while many of you were doing the cool-guy hang, I was hanging with her in the ER...(and we'll have FUN,FUN,FUN till your daddy took the bball away!) Surgery scheduled for tomorrow morn (appreciate everyone's prayers!) Jodi... It was great talking & hanging with you!...You are SO cute!! (love those tats!) Are your feet back to normal yet?!...I look forward to seeing/hanging with y'all soon -Capt. Don

Surgery went well, thanks for asking...she's back home and sleeping...it'll be a long time before she's able to wrap her hands around either her violin or her new Axis...thankfully the nerve damage she suffered (rendering three of her fingers completely numb) has already started reversing itself...thanks for the good thoughts and prayers -Capt. Don

Thanks for the well-wishes guys (and sorry Jack for the thread-creep) It was definately a Max-X kind of bone break ... I'm probably one of the only pilots I know who doesn't play golf (yet) Hey BP are you heading to PHX next week for the FBR? I'd love to buy you a Pelligrino at the Bird's Nest! -Capt. Don

    Good news, Capt. Don!

And I have to say that I b.s.'d a little with Mr. LaRue at the knucklehead gathering and he is a gentleman and a really decent and patient guy.

    A kinder, gentler collection...

Dave LaRue is one of my favorite bassist. I have been a big fan of his since the Steve Morse Band relased Southern Steel. I have met him a few times after Dregs gigs, and yeah he was really cool as was the rest of the band.

I emailed Dave LaRue to (respectfully) ask permission to post the video. Unless Dave or BP says yes, I'm not going to do it. Just dosen't feel right you know?

It shows up better in the photographs than in real person but there is a very subtal red burst on La Rue's bongo.

I loved it when BP said You can get that color, All you have to do is be Dave LaRue.

DG is a great Bongo color!
