    Turn around time

    Hi Folks,

What is the average order time for a bass? I ordered mine in early December, still no signs. My dealer says, it'll be another month.

Would love to get it soon. Is this common for orders from EBMM?

    Thanks,

    Shepp

I think the average is 4-6 months. If you ordered in December, I would suspect that EBMM was in the middle of getting everything ready for NAMM...the release of the Sterling 5 and Bongo 6. Most of the orders placed at NAMM (end of January) have been given delivery dates of April-May, so I would suspect that your bass would be delivered either right before those orders are fillled or with those orders.

We've seen 2 months, we've seen 10 depends on what is moving through the factory (Mynan is on with the 4-6 avg though)

It took 6 months for my stingray to get built and shipped. I got it at the beginning of may 2002 when i ordered it in November of 2001...my dealer is saying their turn around time recently has been about 4 months for all their Musicman instrument orders...hopefully my new bass will be sooner than later

Best way to get through the wait time is to just buy some more basses.

    Thanks Guys.

I was just wondering... Hopefully it'll be here soon.

I am looking an an octave pedal as well to get those nice lows. What would you folks recommend - would a EH POG do the trick with my current setup?

MM Bongo 4 HH (on order)
    GK 700RB-11 Head (on order)
GK- Neo 212 Cab (on order)

    Thanks,

    Shepp....
