Power slinkys are different gauges for five and four strings. 5 string power slinkys have a 0.050 G, 4 strings have a 0.055 G.

I have power slinkies on my 4 string Stingray. I like them in terms of sound, but I'm going to go with something else next time. I find they're inhibiting my playing slightly because they have a bit too much tension.

They'll build your fingers up if you keep them on your bass......my spector has pretty heavy strings on and I learned to play with them, no matter howm uch it hurt.
