You have roads? Wow I always thought it was the sled dogs that you would use for a tour.

No fun driving in that weather glad you made it home okay.

ya, we only had to drive between a few of the shows and then flew home... after an hour and a half delay due to de-icing and an unscheduled maintenance check of one of the plane's tires

I just put the sled and dogs in the garage for the "summer".

I was driving around downtown Toronto in my Mustang Convertible with the top down all day as the weather is gorgeous here. Man, the west coast got pounded!

Being on Highway Patrol duty in Canada must really suck. Trying to stop your horse from shivering so you can hold the radar gun steady would not be easy.

If it thaws for long there that will be kind of a stinky garage.

You joke!... but I swear to god that a friend of mine is a Toronto mounted cop in downtown Toronto (near the Canadian National Exhibition grounds)... rides a horse... and carries a radar gun.

    SERIOUSLY!!!

If you speed out of the CNE towards the Gardiner/Lakeshore (main hiways/roads) during rush hour, the cop on a horse will catch you as you usually stop dead within a few hundred yards. I had to see it to believe it. Many people give him the finger and drive into the traffic. Very funny to see a cop on a horse knock on a car window of the finger wielding idiot.

USED to sound like a girl. He is getting old.

    Funny story....

A friend of mine saw a convertible Maserati (or similar car) downtown Toronto on Davenport Rd (by the Canadian Tire store) last summer and noticed Geddy was driving it. He nudged his buddy and said " how cool is that!?!?!"

His buddy replied "what is cool about the f$#@&*$ ugliest chick I have ever seen driving a car worth more than my house?"

    True story.

Hey gang. New member from Edmonton here.

Psychicpet's posted pic seems to be a dead link but I only have to walk out my front door to know what it was a picture of... I'm back at my seasonal job on a City of Edmonton turf crew and have been off work since Monday due to what you probably saw in that pic. The good news is yesterday was then perfect timing for my latest ebay present to show up...

(wink) Thanks, man. Ya I throw my I5 on my guitar cab once in a while. I write and record in my "home studio" and guitar is actually my instrument... but I needed a great bass to throw into my tracks and this is the one that gets used most often in the studio on the modern albums I listen to... I can usually even pick one out on an album... that warm round mid bass growl that cuts through the mix and lets you hear the notes as opposed to just feel them. I have confirmed my suspicions several times either with a band member or their producer/engineer. If I won the lottery I'd spend 7 grand and wait 2 years for a Fodera... but since none of that's gonna happen, this will more than do me just fine... this is a lifetime purchase for sure and will suit many styles of music!
