I can finally enter the big EBMM family!

Hello there!

I'm absolutely excited as I'm getting my first stingray Ever. After raving for a couple of years at the flea master session and all the people playing the egg shaped pickguard bass I can finally have one! Thanks to 58super who had a 96 honeyburst SR4 maple for me!

I'm getting the bass when I arrive in canada! Can't wait!

little question: If I buy EB straplocks, will it be necessary to remove the existing strap buttons??

What products will I need to clean the bass???

what are the best strings?? I'm using 45-105 slinkys for my ibanez atk I think I'll stay that route!

I've seen that flea stuff too. my first thought when I saw him playing an MM was "oh good, his tone will be nice."

As far as the best product to clean the bass, wonder wipes are very nice.

And of course, EB strings go well with MM basses. They were practically made for each other. I personally prefer super slinkys, 40-100, on my mexijazzes.

Man, I can't wait to be part of this family. Just a few months!

As for cleaning it, wonder wipes, a lot of people on here tend to like them.
The straplocks, you will have to take the original buttons off but the screws are the same size so you won't have to drill them out at all, it's hardly a serious modification though is it?
And strings... it's up to you, use what you like, personally i like ernie ball strings, i've only really tried them and rotosounds though because i can't afford to experiment much at £18-£22 a pack!

I hope you like your new bass, EBMM basses are amazing
