Thumbs up I made the call...

After thinking about which color to get, I finally ordered another Sterling 5 - this one will be an HH in Sterling Silver - white pickguard - matching h/s - rosewood board - the one that Josh/mmbassplayer did a photoshop of. I always wanted a Sabre in Inca Silver, so this is the next best thing! It will be here in time for Christmas - or maybe Thanksgiving - or Halloween! Now I get to wait impatiently. I think I'll have enough Sterling 5's now.....I say that now. I've seen some of the large collections here - it IS an addiction.

You have four Sterling 5s now? Wow, that was quick!

It sounds like the new one will be very nice. I really like the Inca Silver.

Dood, you need to change your screen name to Ritchie or Eggman.

Inca silver is my favorite. I had a Lakland 4-94 Classic in Inca Silver but it never sounded as good as my Stingrays. I would love a MusicMan in Inca Silver!

Yes - great bass! Thanks BP! I was waiting for the Sterling 5 to come out and I actually missed it at NAMM this year - walked right by it. At the time, I was not on the forum - or else I would have seen the prototype and all the talk about it. So, I used to think "Wouldn't it be great if they made a Sterling 5?!" I had owned several Stingrays and even Sabres back in the 80s. Then I heard about some cat named Mike Tobias and ended up using his basses for quite a while. I always wanted to get a Sterling 4 and finally bought one a few years ago and I was back in the EB/MM loop again. I actually emailed someone at EB maybe a year and a half ago and inquired about a Sterling 5 and I was told to "stay tuned" which spelled - COOL, they ARE working on it! Now that it's here, it's ON! I knew I'd be buying several of these basses. I have not even been taking any other basses (the T word) to gigs since I got the SUB5 and the pair of Sterling 5's! I ordered the Sterling 5 fretless because I do play fretless on a few tunes per set, but the HH in Sterling Silver was totally a GAS move. Didn't need it - wanted it - and it's gonna look very cool.
