    I asked the same question a while back.
    It seems Phatty's got a wood plank wall
    behind the drywall so he has screwed into
    wood support and did not need anchors.

    I had to use a couple anchors supplied with
    the String Swing Hangers and they're
    very good . . but I'd definetly feel more
    comfortable finding a stud. The hangers
    are available at any GC or online @ MF.

    USAF in Iraq

    This bass is the one that all USAF bassists have at their disposal "downrange". Nice bass, and despite it getting beaten like a rented mule, plays great and sounds awesome!
