This was a very good weekend as I was able to trade my p-bass for a gorgeous Sterling Fretless 4. I was not expecting a new bass any time soon but I love when a trade offer pops up out of nowhere. What a machine! I decided to take a quick pick of the family which is up to seven EBMM's now.
Here's the new addition:
The Group Shot:
The fours:
And the fives:

Thanks guys! Never thought I would be lucky enough to amass such a collection. Single H is the ultimate for me, nice and simple! I never got along with multiple pickup basses.

Beautiful collection for sure!
Funny, I am the opposite.
My ears tend to favor the HH and HS variety of EBMM basses.
I Just cannot get the tone I like out of the single H.
I know it seems most EBMM players favor the tried and true single H too.
Maybe my ears broken? hahaha!!
I know I sold off a coveted 2010 Dargie II Bongo 4H because I liked the sound of my 2004 Bongo HH4 better.
And now an considering selling off another coveted musicman bass...my 2006 30th LE Stingray 4H in mahogany and birdseye, for the same reason.....Just like my HH and HS stingrays better.

Looks like you have a pretty serious collection yourself! No point in keeping the ones you don't play. My "problem" is that I can't part with any of mine as they all have a certain mojo to them. The Trans Orange SR5 is still my "number 1" but I really don't have any clear favorites in the pack as they are all so consistent in build quality, playability and tone, despite having quite different personalities.

Thanks!
Working on it for sure.
Always have my eyes open for a good find.
I agree.
I have that same "problem"....Nearly impossible to let go of one of the "keeper" basses.
It kills ya when ya find something ya want badly, but know ya should be letting go of one to get it.
The ole "one in one out" rule is really the way to go, IFFFFFF you can somehow make yourself abide by it. lol![]()
