I you were to off some of those other basses you could complete your collection… you're missing the Sterling and SR5, for example, and then there are the Classics….

    Just sayin'.

For me, if a toy doesn't get used in a year, it's time for it to go.

    Yea I hear ya.
I never laid a hand on the sterling basses yet....should though.
I do like the Big AL neck, so would think a Sterling would be cool.
I do not play 5 stringers...so those are out.
And had a beautiful Ray Classic.
    Vintage white, flamed neck.
Did not really give it a fair chance.
Had it for a month or two and barely touched it.
Bad gas pains set in for something and off she went .....sold.

Sounds like you like those Sterlings eh?
I will most likely grab one when I find the right color and price.
    Have to try one.
Nearly went for a true gold one awhile back.
I am a sucker for that color for some reason...hard to find.
Would prefer one with the HS pup config. and a matching headstock.

Funny after we talked about Sterlings.
A lightly used True Gold Sterling popped up on feebay.
Ironic that this happened to be from the same Music Store I JUST had bought that new 2009 Rosewood neck Ice Blue Ray from.
Needless to say just could not blow more cha ching at that time.
    And had to pass.
A different time and I would have jumped on it.
$850 for a minty true gold Sterling would have been a very fair deal!
Guess it was not meant to be right now....maybe one day!

Thanks to a discount coupon at Guitar Center and a very nice trade in value on one of my non EBMM basses, I was able to trade for this bass almost straight across. Needless to say, I am a very happy man and am one step closer to ridding myself of all non EBMM instruments and owning all EBMM electric guitars and basses from here on out.

hahaha damn this thing is popular.
I think I recall two other forumites calling 1st and 2nd dibs on it already?
So I guess IF and when? We can refer to the thread and see who is in what order?
    And go from there.
I kinda sorta doubt I will let go of it? But ya never know?
Never played a BFR Rosewood neck before....??
Just FINALLY got it paid for and she should be shipping out tomorrow hopefully.
Would be awesome if she landed Friday, before the weekend
