    Awesome pickguard.

OF looks nice, and if it's anything like all of the other EBMM finishes I've ever seen, it'll look even better in person.

But I still mourn for Desert Gold. Darned glad I've got one.

Recently I have taken more interest in that color. Does anyone have pics of a Desert gold (DG) bass next to a Firemist? Lighting would be key since the Desert Gold has that overshot that color changes in bright light (I wonder if that is the same stuff they shot over the dargie II). In darker light my DG bongo looks more like the Orange Firemist. Maybe the same color but the DG gets that gold overspray??

No picts of them side by side but I have owned both. DG is lighter and brighter. It also tended to shift a little more under certain lights. OFM is a little sparklier but isn't as warm as DG and doesn't shift too much. Both are great colors though. (I miss my DG Bongo 5)
