(Pics Added) Test your familiarity with TPB's site/inventory

Anyone else out there so familiar with what's where, that you notice when pics of certain basses are removed from a dealer's site?

Well, a little something is on the way to me from The Perfect Bass (thanks Brandt!), and the pics of it have already been removed, as of this afternoon.

    Any guesses?

    Edit: Ok, one hint: it's a 4.

I'm pretty sure I know what this is. I'll refrain from saying what it is, however, as I feel I have an unfair advantage...

I was gonna say, being their Rep & all.
Edit: Still would be counted as fair, though AJ, since you're such a cool guy. Always super quick & helpful with Cust Srvc replies, and always posting pics of the new stuff for us to drool and lust and GAS over ... hey wait, not sure that's such a good thing.

Been a few days since I checked them, but it is either one of the darker BFR Redwoods, the Orange Firemist SR4 or a Sterling Silver SR4. Least, I think there was a silver SR4...

That certain redwood BFR is now safely tucked away for me. Congrats on your new purchase as well!

By the way, Brandt is awesome to deal with there. I have never had such great customer service from a music store before. He definitely earned a repeat customer from me.

I never saw a Silver SR4 there ... saw some at basscentral - someone from here scored one from there recently, in fact.

I look at TPB and TPG once in awhile, they have great pics and Brandt is a cool dude, congrats on whatever you scored, now ask me about DuBaldo Music and pretty much can tell you whats in stock, I know two items are now gone

I'm almost postive there was a SSilver something, I just don't remember what exactly. So what did you get?!

Well, your other guess, the Orange Firemist SR4H. That thing just popped big time when I saw it.

Thing is, I haven't been super crazy about it on other basses/other configs, but on an SR4H, Maple, with that Vintage White Pearloid PG ... man, that was on the money. Just so simple and classic looking. There's been a void in that position in my line-up, ever since I sold my (formerly) Autumn Redrise SR4H to Mr. Zak. I wasn't in a rush to get that spot filled, since there's so much new & exciting EBMM variety to GAS over these days. But you GOTTA have the classic, and like I said, when I saw that one, it was love at first sight. If she was a president, she'd be Babraham Lincoln. Her name in Latin would be Babia Majora.

There's still a Sterling Silver Bongo 4H in my future, but I know that down the road, I'll be glad I made this little "diversion".

And yeah, as others have said - and I'm sure the same is true of our other forumite dealers, so no offense to anyone - the deal with Brandt was super smooth & accommodating.

Can't wait to get my hands on that classy 'Ray next week.
