Lined or not it is a marvelous bass. I started playing bass on an upright - so unlined doesn't bother me. I do like the reference points on occasion, though!

I've got more shots of olive gold... with and w/out flash. I had to follow eggie's lead and buy this as soon as he posted his first pics.

    There's nothing wrong with lines.

    What do you think Tony?

Oh what is that!? A lined fretless. It's too bad..."the ultimate in fretless" was so close.

I guess you'll have to settle for being a world class musician who tours with Peter Gabriel.

OK mingusbass you made your overly-elaborate point, I am just trying to say that fretless looks better without lines in my opinion. And I'm pretty sure Tony's fretless is not a bongo HSp, it looks more like a SR5 from here, so you can't really compare the two.

Plus, and I don't know why, lines confuse me.

    LOL

Seriously I saw one yesterday at a local shop, and as much as those pictures are awsome, it looks even better in person! It almost changes color depending on the angle and light, it goes from pure Gold, to olive green to brown, to almost black. If that SR had been with a matching headstock, I'd be posting pictures of my own!!!
