fresh strings, fresh tweak, new ditty.....

well, Friday I borrowed my good buddy Monty Billocks' work bench and did a once-over on my Bongo.

Contact cleaner'd the pots, lem oiled the fingerboard, tweaked the p/up heights, and put a fresh set of Slinky 5s on it.

    So.....

last night right before heading to bed I came up with this little ditty:

    IN10T

it should automatically play as the first track. best listened too (and best reverb wash) with headphones but make sure you've got your sub turned on if you're listening to it 'sans cans'.

I really like that Peter. Kinda reminds me of Cactus World News from the 80's. Very moody.Great job!

Nice tone, as expected from a Bongo-head. Very nice! Shaking the stuff off my desk right now!
I've seen a million basses, and I rocked them all!
Currently rocking with Shakedown, exclusively on a 2008 Candy Red Bongo.

Sounds great Pete? What happened to the flats? Are you a string changing addict like me?

Whew! That's good to hear, I thought I was the only one I put a used set of Acmes on my Bongo, and they stayed on for 4 months; probably the longest I've ever gone before changing strings.
