What I did for my 50th birthday (even scarier than turkey legs)

Having done most of the mid-life crisis stuff long ago, I decided it was time for a shake-up on my 50th birthday.

So, I asked everyone NOT to give me any gifts. Instead, I elected to surprise them with something that, for good or ill, they'd remember forever. The only person who knew was my brother, who did the honors.....

My mom, holding a picture of me at age 18, circa 1977. Didn't have any hair then, either, and you can see why I wear a beard.

Congrats and welcome to the tribe lol, I'm 35 and started shaving mine 6 years ago. I have saved tons of money in shampoo products lol. Just be careful going out in the sun, sunburn on the dome hurts might fiercely!!!

I shaved my head for twenty bucks and a six pack back in high school. Turns out they were taking senior pictures a week later, I remember Mom was not happy!

I think it looks good on you Andy and of course it might grow back. But you never know once you turn fifty, good luck!
