    Solvent free rosewood care options.

Due to an overexposure a while back, my body is extremely sensitive to organic solvents like mineral spirits. I want to use the Wonder Wipes but I'm afraid I'd end up rendering my bass useless to me.

Any tips on rosewood care that is a mild oil?

I've heard of Lemon oil mentioned.

This is in no way a hit on WW or implying that they are unsafe, in my case I can be affected by stuff that would never bother a normal person. I had to have an upright stripped after refinishing because the varnish used, even after a few months of outgassing, so you can see why I'm real hesitant of what I use.

Of course I'd try out any suggestions to see how I react to it first, so don't be shy about speaking up.
    What, me worry?

I'm using Fret Doctor on all my Rosewood boards. You could actually eat it on your salad. I figure it's worth a mention, if not just for the excellent article comparing all sorts of different treatments.

Stewart MacDonald has some of the best fretboard conditioning oils around, you should check their website.

Look for food grade 100% tung oil in a decent woodcraft shop as well. It'll make the figure on a rosewood board really pop.

    Thanks again guys.

Slingy hit the nail on the head, I ended up with Bore Oil on a recommendation from a member and it is amazing stuff. I am one happy bass player.
