Vancouver Bass Day!!! May 16th

Here's an upcoming event:


Vancouver Community College Bass Workshop ’09

On Saturday May 16th Laurence Mollerup will be presenting a workshop series for beginner and intermediate electric and acoustic bass players. There will be classes on Theory and the Fingerboard, Playing along with CD's and transcribing music, Chord Voicings, and Soloing for bass guitar. There will also be a class on Double Bass -bowing, fingering, and jazz playing techniques.

Vancouver Community College
1155 East Broadway (just west of Clark Dr.)2nd level, Auditorium

Laurence is a great, great player and teacher and this should be a ton of fun for the day. I'll be there helping out for the day along with my "Mona Lisa" Bongo (which is actually being loaded up this morning to take along to the Okanagan for some recording)
