25th bridge pickup placement, HH vs HSS

I'm struggling over whether to order a 25th 5string in either HH or HSS pickup config. Judging from the photos I've seen, the bridge pickup sits much closer to the bridge on the HSS than it does on the HH. Can anyone comment on the difference in tone when soloing the bridge pickup in these different configs?

For reference, I have an SR5 Dargie HH, and am leaning toward the HSS to have a different pickup config with some added versatility.

Thanks for anyone who can provide input based on their experiences,
    Shannon

Have you ever heard the bongo HH's bridge only tone? I expect (although I do not KNOW) that the tone on the HSS (bridge only) would be similar to that. I read a post by BP saying the HH config on the 25th was the same positioning as the stingray - and as you have a stingray 5 HH I would go for the HSS. I would go for the HSS anyway, for sheer awesomeness.

My guess would be that the HSS bridge pickup would be similar to the sound of a dual-pickup Bongo with the bridge pickup soloed.

I definitely need an HSS 25th, a completely new super bass, EB/MM has just
set the bar even higher, I can't imagine it not being able to handle any style,
or tone. HSS all the way, imho.

hmm wish I had a chance to hit the HSS at Namm I only played the HH maple neck 5er which sounded good....I kind of liked the S/S/S Big Al a bit more......is the H/H back pick up in the same spot as a single H as well?

Yeah, I know I suck, but at least I suck a little less than I sucked yesterday.
