WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW lol, just as a thought it would be Dude that aint mojo, it looks like you took that bass off and put the smack down on somebody's head with it lol. I'm sure some of the bongo heads here will probably faint when they see it, big poppa might hunt you down and kill ya, and you'll probably have a wanted poster made up and posted on all GC's for your capture lol. Yall playing anywhere up in Virginia this weekend? My guitarist is headed up to Richmond on Thursday for the weekend to see the in laws, see some bands and book some shows. Let me know if yall are playing and I'll tell him to check yall out!

Wow, but that's not surprising given all the sharp pointy bits on the stage outfit.

One question though, are they just finish cracks in the 4th photo (back of body) or are they something more terminal?

You know after thinking about it, your providing a very good stress test for the bongo, kinda like a crash test for a car. I think we're all going to find out how well a bongo can stand up what appears to be a beating from hell lol. And for the record, if we ever cross paths and play shows together, I will tase you if you get near any of my equipment lol.

I like it! I love seeing an instrument that is actually played and not just hangs on the wall. My two basses have similar war wounds.

Actually... It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I was honestly expecting most of the back to look like the horn in the 3rd pic. Maybe my minds eye was just over reacting to the suit

My only question is... with the first ding were you like "NOO!" or "MORRRE!" or indifferent, or what? hahaha

Yeah, this is what I wonder too. All the other damage seems appropriate Koog style, but those lines on the back...?
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

With the way the bass sits, the upper horn is the one that really rubs on the armor...hence...that is where it is chewed up the most. Of course, the bass knob is missing...but...it is right where I like it set so why bother fixing it.

The pic most are wondering about is on the back. Yes....those are cracks, but, most likely finish cracks. DISCLAIMER - I CAUSED THEM!! What happened here was a rather Spinal Tapish moment. I had Brand X strap locks at the time and went to "throw" the bass to the crowd (but I had it strapped to my shoulder...I wasn't really going to just toss it out there) well...the back strap lock broke and my bass went sailing into the bar...literally. To say I had a look on my face...it would look like this..... Funny part is...the bartender picked it up...but it on a bar stool (it had a back to it) and put a FREE beer and shot in front of it...lol.

Since I have put EBMM Straplocks on....ZERO issues. I got a pair for my guitar player and he loves them. Again kids....EBMM Straplocks....get yourself some....end of shameless plug.

The great amazing thing about this bass...yes...beat to hell...still slays any one out here. Warhammer is a known bass. People see it and know who it belongs to...lol. It is the only bass I use live and will be the only bass I use live. The tone is simply amazing and one of a kind.

Bloodfist....I am playing at a place called Budda's this Saturday in Newport News, VA. Just down the road a bit from Richmond. Tell your friend to stop by and say hi if he has the time. I will send him home with a shirt for him and for you.

TK...go to our myspace page...in my signature to hear some tracks.

CFA....funny thing is...the first ding was actually me snapping off a tuning key. Yes...the reaction was ....lol

The "crash test" is definitely done here..lol. I just can't seem to get this bass to out of tune...even with the violence it sees at every show. I put the tuner to it after one show and it was a hairline off dead center Bb...which is what we tune to. One bassist actually told me he has no idea how that stays in tune. So...we got to talking EBMM's. I am actually surprised to see hardly any EBMM's out here. I saw one and it was a dude in a cover band. Most peeps out here use other brands....but...I like to represent!

See, there's another one of those sentences you just never expect to see.

Koogs... no matter how it is explain it, it is pure MOJO. When you play a bass it will get hurt (more so when armor and spikes are involved). Kermit has a few dings (I cried over the first - but told myself the only way to prevent that is not to play it). I think it is awesome that you have found a bass you love, fits the look and the personality, serves its purpose and is (with the exception of the paint) built like a tank.
