I wonder if the Gamechanger will allow you to EQ each coil set independently before they are mixed together and master EQ'd. Could be cool, then again it could be overkill... ?

I'll only be happy if I can filter out and separately EQ the odd-order harmonics for each string individually, with one discrete setting for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and another for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Seriously, as far as I've been able to tell the deal appears to be that you find a tone you like and can save it for instant access at any time. The details of how you get the tone are not as important as being able to save it and recall it on demand.
BP said in the Florida documentary thread that there will be at least two banks.
So (perhaps), a conventional set of tone controls/switches as usual, plus a toggle (A/B/off) and, say, a rotary switch with, say, five positions. That would give you ten slots to fill with tones you cook up (or download?), along with the ability to EQ manually the way you always have.
Simple.
On the other hand, I may have my head up my butt. Probably do.

BP: "I am very proud of many of the creations at ebmm but none more than the Bongo. Every day the cult grows and it makes it all worthwhile."
I'm "assuming" (making an ass out of... well just me) that there is a software component that can configure the onboard electronics and presets, that are stored in the banks. I'm sure they will make the entire process very user friendly... but I'm wondering about just how powerful the guts are behind the scenes. Maybe not all of the parameters should be directly exposed to the end user... but I'm thinking this thing may be able to do some magic chocolate mojo kind of sh!t under the covers..... maybe even mix martinis!Really I'm just having fun letting my "geek" imagination go a tad bit wild.
One thing is for sure... EBMM's execution of this product will probably make Steve Jobs sit up and take notice.... I have the distinct feeling that they are getting this one "right" the first go around.

I knew that you knew.Just made the remark if some others here didn´t know and started to wonder how the heck he´d get that sound from a Stingray. I´ve noticed that not all bassists are familiar with King Crimson. Specially the young ones. "Young" is everything under 44. I´m old. And grumpy.
