I have ordererd my set already
I really want to know: is this a lottery (a random poster wins), or a sort of contest, like "the coolest pic wins"?

Just when I needed to change my strings...ah, who am I kidding, I'm a sucker for promotions.![]()
Is this competition only open to US Citizens or worldwide?
I'm pretty sure Rhode Island will be excluded....![]()

trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!
I still have regular factory strings on my Sterling 5, but can someone explain me the difference between those coated strings and the regulars?
I mean, I'm satisfied with OEM built in factory strings at this moment, so why bother?
And the last question, is that competition worldwide?
Edit: OK, I've already found it on the official EB page, it says:
"Ernie Ball’s new coated bass strings offer extended life and great playability. An ultra thin layer of Ernie Ball’s exclusive enamel coating protects the strings and preserves their bright sound, while retaining the natural feel of uncoated strings."
Just answer me please on my last Q!

I waited for Guitar Center to get in coated strings, but they only got in the regular slinkys. So I went on line and ordered a set of super slinkys from a company called Guitar Morgue. They had the same price as GC with free shipping and no sales tax. So I saved a couple of bucks. They also sent a pak of wonder wipes and an Ernie Ball sticker. Now how cool is that? Way cool! Now all I have to do is put them on and take a picture and enter and WIN! If you can't find the EB strings you want locally, give them a try at Guitar Morgue - Instruments To Die For
