I broke my bass playing rockstar in the living room again.
"Just in case" is because you never know. Just last week I had a string break forcing me to swap basses and I've had more than my share of straps and straplocks that have decided that gigs are more fun to break at than practice![]()
they say absence makes the heart grow fonder... so go away!
Current basses: None(but looking)
Previous basses:
Stratus Blue Sparkle 'Ray with maple and matched stock (owned twice, sold twice, and regretted selling twice)
Lava Pearl 'Ray with maple and matched stoch
Lava Pearl Bongo 4HH
Carbon Ble Pearl Sterling with maple board
Just in case also applies to just in case I am not hurting my back carrying the amp and cabs into the gig I should have a heavy tool box to finish the job.
tk
the whole just in case thing was ment to be that
i bring my sterling just in case
the whole thing
was that
i bring my sterling

When you do get in a band and you are playing a paying gig, they don't take too kindly to long, quiet breaks in the music. Neither the bar manager nor the crowd cares that you broke a string and you need to stop and replace it. They only know that they are not getting what they paid for. If you want to keep getting gigs, you need to come prepared. Probably the only person in the band that won't bring a back up instrument is the drummer and even he brings lots of sticks.Originally Posted by jubjub721
