Nahhh..... more like a smokin' girlfriend with a very charming gay boy friend...

Seriously, the HH has more depth and deep fat sounds than the HS. As I descibed it lately to another forum member: The HS has a bit more of a "jazz" vibe (which may be a stupid way to describe it but it's my feeling). Also, the HS has some sort of "female" touch, while the HH is "male".

But naturally it's best you try them out yourself!

What's so experimental about buying every model, and then make a shootout of what you like and what not...

i too play a lot of the two tone ska, and let me tell you it nails the tone. and i have a 1h three eq. all you do is crank up the bass knob on the amp slightly for a little bit of extra boost or a 33hz slider and you got it evened out with the 2eq. but if you think about it you need to do amp work with the 2eq to get the mids boost or cut that you probobly will need anyways. its funny to me because in my opinion both of them need amp work to do what eachother does. regardless they're both the most versitile best sounding basses money can buy and they can get anything out of them. neither of them aren't "warm" and both of them are amazing.

also that is one shiny bass

i was gonna trade out my single H for a 2h but then i discovered ampeg tube amps. plus all that boom was a little too much for me. i loved it though it sounded great but its not my style. the booming mids and the ampeg tube sound on the single H is my favorite sound on a bass right now.
