    dear mr Ford
I would really likr to buy one of your cars but i want one with a pink steering wheel.Me and my mates all really like pink one's.we all work in a gas station so i think we should know about things like this.
I know i could but one and rip out the wheel you supplied but i dont feel i should have to pay for an expensive wheel just to rip it out.....did i say i really like your cars btw !!
so,when you start making cars with a pink steering wheel i will buy one.but not just now because i dont have the money to do buy one.

.......i will let you know if i get a reply from ford

thats pretty much what i got from it all,but please take the above in jest

    fuel to the fire.
I have an Ovation Magnum. Played it for years. it's a very distincrive bass tone. Not so hot if you want an ultra clean tone, but great for overdriven bass! Also takes and holds a very nice action.
Musicman chasing the passive market is about as silly as those 70's fender guitars with all the 'I'm almost as good as gibson' features like humbuckers, bigsby etc.
The Musicman basses do the musicman sound. Same as the fender basses do that Fender sound. Gibson basses, well who plays those?

I think Musicman does a great job of offering meat and potatoes basses for the price of other companies imports and also turning out some real head turners and short runs that just kill.
As far as tone if the MM tone doesn't work for you than pick up a used Stingray, yank the electronics and go passive. Heck you can even get a Nordy or a bart in there if your tastes run that way. Never did figure out why folks do that but hey we all have our own tastes!

No need for that. Just pull the battery.
