Here's my SR4 bought new in 2000. It's not as white as it used to be.

How about a white Bongo with a black neck and black tuners/bridge, matching white headstock. That would look sharp.![]()

I dream of a white SR5 with pearl white pickguard and a blank plank fretless neck. Oh mama!

Oh, I remember that one. Did it have a black neck? That was a sharp looking bass. We need to post another pic of that one. Here's a link to that one: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/musi...louisiana.html
I would like a matching white headstock though. Although I would gladly take one just like that.

Love that white Bongo! LOVE IT.
I've seen a million basses, and I rocked them all!
Currently rocking with Shakedown, exclusively on a 2008 Candy Red Bongo.
Got the seriously cool metal battery plate!
Even with the flash nuking the upper bout, you can tell how it's aged. Next step: brownish tort?
Cheers

Yeah, I've got about 15+ years to get that aged. Now, in my state, the smoking laws prohibit anyone from smoking inside the venue... which means the aged white won't have nearly as much mojo! Someone actually suggested rubbing Kiwi shoe polish on it.![]()
My white SR5 which is now three years old and has started to drift to creame. This photos shows the difference between the finish and the pickguard. When the bass was new, the PG and the finish were identical in colour.

I have one of the original white sparkles, supposedly one of the last shot. I love that finish. It has a nice birds eye in the neck too. Nothing classier than white for a formal gig!
You can never have too many balls!
*Punches throat*... *Loud coughs* ...dig that white perloid pickguard! The whole bass is stellar.
TD...That bass is just plain classy.
And Brandt's white Bongo is just sick.
Music is food for the soul...And i'm hungry.
