Absolutely beautiful! I drool over a good maple neck. It's a close call between the maple and the stripes, but I think the stripes just about have it!

bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

Those are absolutely bee-yoo-tee-ful. Enough for this normally rosewood guy to switch teams. Very hamburgler-esque on the one neck. I love it.

Happy to stick with the classic SR4 with neck upgrade though..................for now. Looks like I might have to re-think the shell pink from what Zombi said in the Bass Player Live post.
Anyone got an idea when orders can first be placed yet?

Proof that i need a second job.
I mis-spoke here. It wasn't ebony. It's REALLY nice, dark rosewood that I mistook for ebony in the pic in this thread. Unless I'm mistaken, that's the neck on the shell pink Classic Ray that Rex bought at the show.
These pics are good, but they don't do the necks justice. They're stunning in person.

WOW! I just realized that the Matching headstocks were one offs for the BPL show! I got the Fiesta Red one and it is absolutely STUNNING in person! I HIGHLY recommend going for one of these Birdseye neck while they are still available. I can't tell you how many comments I have gotten on mine in the short time I have owned her. Mine is truly a once in a lifetime bass and she is all that more special now that I know she is a one off!
DON"T HESITATE! Thanks to the staff at EBMM for making me this beauty!
Peace,

I am officially a Knucklehead! I only own and play EBMM basses! Took a long time to get here but I am really glad I made the trip! Thanks to everyone that has anything to do with making these the fine instruments they are!
