just priced a 25th HSS

I wont tell you how much it was but i will tell you i am a very happy man.I was expecting to pay nearly twice as much as i got quoted.I dont know how you did it BP but looks like the price is being kept very fair.

it looks like i might be getting one sooner than i think !!

Well done matey... is it a 4 or a 5? maple or rosewood board?

So with 2 days difference (I ordered mine on the 21st) I am interested to see which one of us will get it first.

i wanted a 5 string with maple board but they dont have one in stock so i will have to wait.I would really love to play it first but they are not going to get one in the showroom in Dublin which is fair enough.However i really dont think i need to play it first as i bought both my SR5 and Bongo without playing either.
as i said i wanted a maple board but i am torn between it and RW.

is your flame or quilt ?? cant wait to here what you think of it !

I have ordered a 5 HSS flamed top, not quilt, with rosewood board. ETA first 2 weeks of Jan '10. I also wanted maple board, but the deal I was offered was for one with r/wood instead.

By the way, I would never buy an instrument which I can't try before!

But, OK, we are talking about top class instruments here, so why bother!

Anyway, this afternoon I'm going to my local dealer to try 25th H model, which is first landed in my country! I can't wait, and try to make some cell phone photos to add here!

I just recently bought mine Sterling 5 in action price sale (it was last year model), so I'll wait for a while for higher class bass and some new discount price action sale!

Congrats,on your order, you won't have worry about playing it first, the 25th will have you in awe the second you pick her up. This is the best bass i've ever owned, I still love my Bongo, but there is just so much going on with the 25th, it's amazing and the best part is adjustments are all intuitive and effortless, I sold 2 basses to get another, an HH, all the best.

I haven't ordered it just yet, I am still waiting on the sales to call me back with a lead time and exact price. The pictures I see the more I think I am just going to tell him to order it straight away

i just got off the phone.....i missed the order date.

strings and things told him all they have left is a H and a HH in 4 string,no 5 strings at all and they wont be getting anymore

my own fault for waiting so long,the first day i saw BP with one on his knee i knew i wanted one.

I just thought they would hit Ireland sooner,i called 2 stores about 3 months ago and asked about them but they never got back to me.

my own fault.........

you should hear whats really coming out of my mouth right now!

Guys, well I just can't believe it!

I came today to buy a new EB strings for my bass, and ask dealer (my friend) where are those 25th? I would like to try them! And he said, sorry buddy, sold out!

I said, wtf.? what do you mean sold out, they just arrived?

He said sorry, 25th 5 H bought one famous domestic bass player, and another 25th 4 H bought bassman of one famous guitarist & singer in my country!

Damn!

By the way, he offered me an excellent price for cash to order 25th HSS/maple FB/flame top, 'cause domestic currency is very strong, and US dollar is very weak at this moment! He said something about 3320 US$! (is that much?)

I said well we'll see in the future, I must try it first, and he said the next regular 25th comes not before New Year!

After all I make my comfort with trying one Stingray 5 w/p, and one Bongo HSp, ...nice basses!
