    Pictures of my basses.

I realised that I havn't actually got any pictures of my current EBMM basses up here.

Here are some. Although I'm no photographer.

The 3rd wall hanger used to have the gorgeous fretless natural SR4 with insane birdseye, but it had to move on for reasons that seem so unimportant now. I will have it back. Maybe a Big Al too...

A couple of classics! Very nice. Since getting my DDII 5H Bongo this week I have not been able to put it down.

Nice pics Zak, what's with the raised pickguard section on the Bongo in the middle between the humbucker and the single?

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

It's a 'ramp' which the previous owner installed (he is a luthier) which I havn't got round to removing yet. It is just to rest your thumb on when playing, but I just anchor it on the bridge pickup. Ideally I want a python pickguard to replace that one anyway.

I would keep the ramp pickguard around. If you are at all studying jazz or fast intricate lines, a ramp is very handy I have found. It really helps you to keep your touch light and your speed up, especially if you use a floating thumb technique.

I love the sparkle finish too!
