Check Ebay on a regular basis, and welcome to the forum!

I got my '78 by accident, my GF was searching the internet and stumbled upon this pawn shop where they had one...just have to be a bit lucky one shows up.

The radio knob thingy...it's very rare

hello tube and welcome to the forum

your best luck would be keeping an eye on ebay auctions..

    MrM

ps: if you find some spare ones, im looking too
just put flats on the bongo!!
just put roundwounds on your fretless!!

    eb customer support:
    E-mail: musicman_customerservice@ernieball.com
    Telephone: +1 866-823-2255

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

there is a wonderful WTB sticky up at the top of the forum. You may want to post this there:

Also, the forum is mostly full of fans of the newer stuff. Not that we don't appreciate the vintage basses - we do.

But a radio knob 76 is going to be a very rare bird.

Try a Classic Series Stingray when they are released in Jan, you'll have your 76 Ray only one that really works and a much better player & Lighter, Now if you want a Radio knob just to have one I can respect that,
One thing I would like to mention, on the 1976 Ray one big Problem was the Pickup, Magnets we're so long that they went into the body and became so strong it was too much pull on the strings which caused many problems, Just a Heads up if you consider one as a Player.
    Good Luck.
