2006 Limited Editions - where are they?

2006 Limited Editions - where are they?

I have a Bongo 5H, and I'm trying to put a price on it after deciding for the 17th time this year that I'm really not much of a five-string kind of guy - even though I spent the last 10+ years doing it...

So, of course I start looking to see what they're selling for here and other websites, completed items on good 'ol ebay. Can't find a one of them, nowheres. And I don't see them in pictures that often either.

I know they're not "rare" or anything, but what does the '06 LE version add to the value of a bass?

The most famous 2006LE would be Koog's Single H Bongo 4. I am sure this think lost a dollar or two in value do to the small dings it has. JOSH

    Here's mine:

There's a bongo4HH for sale here in the Netherlands, owner is asking EUR1400 (don't think he'll get it though).

Does anyone know how many LE2006 basses were made anyway?

Much of that wear and tear doesn't appear to be the result of playing hard. If so, the pickup and pickguard should be ground into dust.

i believe he wears a studded costume on stage which has attributed to most of the wear

    He's not an animal!

Well, wait. He's not a vegetable or a mineral and he stands upright and has opposable thumbs....I guess he is an animal.

Keko, it's okay. Koogs, as mentioned, wears this crazy metal studded outfit onstage (perhaps elsewhere, I don't ask) and enjoys himself quite a bit. And he loves his bass, which is called War Hammer.

    Koogs!

His gig threads remind me of a collision between Gene Simmons and Gwar. Real cool

I seem to remember him telling us about the time this bass flew across a venue a smacked into the bar on the other side of the room...recieving no structural damage in the process. Awesome.

Agreed. He got his money's worth out of that one! My Stingray is pretty much mint in comparison, and I never thought I'd say that.
