One of my all time favorite places!

When you say nice traditional dinner, do you mean traditional turkish?

Have a good one either way!

Traditional American fare. Whole turkeys, prime rib, honey glazed ham, egg nog, the works!

My first wife was American. The first time she said she was going to make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving I was like "WTF?" To me the concept sounded as appetising as a tuna milkshake, but I was pleasantly surprised that pumpkin pie tasted pretty much just like apple pie. I'm struggling to think of anything else positive about that marriage though!
    Cheers

Mark, did she make sweet potato and pecan pies too? Those are just as good as pumpkin pie (and very bad for the waistline )

ET2, did you go to Limassol Cyprus? This is the first time ever that I am in the Med and now I am wishing that I planted my Navy roots in the East Coast instead. IMO, the ports here are far better than 3rd, 5th and 7th FLT stops.

Yup... good old Limassol. Very expensive there but a great time. I have only done one sea tour (5.5 years) and it was an East Coast boat. Thinking i will stay East Coast when i get off shore duty. JOSH
