    "" warning""

First Off Happy Holidays to All of you Great Music Man Lovers, My wife and I spent the day at my Warehouse going through Music Man Basses,Merry Christmas Hon,
and even at 270 Basses which do all get played at some point we decided to remove the Batteries cause Lord knows how long they had been in these basses and we had 43 that had leaked even with expiration dates as good as 2011. At any rate I'm going to recommend if you store your Music Mans it maybe a good idea to remove those Batteries cause I do have a few I had to bring home cause I have a mess to clean up.

Good point! This happened to me too, unlike you I collect wrist watches (300+ of them) and I have lost a few beyond repair because the damn batteries leaked.
Now I store all my watches without batteries in them, except for the automatic ones which don't need batteries, like the rolex ones.

Good point Dave, I'll go check on mine now
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

The old Pre-EB 2EQ Rays up to c.1980 used to run all the time (unplugged or plugged) and therefore no battery probs.

Dave raises a good point to watch out for though.

Maintenance is always rough when it is a large number. Sorry to hear! Do you do anything else like loosen strings, hang upright or do you keep them all in cases?

Do you have any pictures of some of your collection? Is it difficult picking favorites?
