    Deluxe HSC Question

    Hi All! Happy New Year!!

I have a question regarding MM Deluxe HSC's. I have the opportunity to buy a MM tolex deluxe case. The seller says it is a LE case. He says it is black with green liner. He also says it has a 'nubby' black tolex material as opposed to the smooth black tolex that is standard on most cases. He can't send me a pic. Does anybody know what this 'nubby' tolex is? Maybe share a pic?

    Thanks,
    Bob

I think he means the 2006 LE case. And with nubby, a leather like texture? Not 100% sure though..

you should ask spudmurphy over on the skinny side.. he got a 2006 le albert lee guitar and hopefully the case as well.. if its anything like the other cases its more like a crocskin type of tolex than the regular dashboard type

just put flats on the bongo!!
just put roundwounds on your fretless!!

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

Thanks for the tips on the '2006 LE'. I found the pic below when I Googled 'MusicMan 2006 LE'. I'm pretty sure that is what the seller is referring to.

    I appreciate the help.

    Bob:

A few of the Limited Edition cases (30th, 2007, 2008) are easy to damage. I have had a few 2005 & 2006 cases, and they are more difficult to rip or tear the finish. The 2006 LE is a nice case.
