Was there a 2EQ Stingray with piezo?

Bought a Stingray bass on famous auction site, item # 200420547150.
Photo of the back suggests it's a piezo version because there is what looks like a piezo backcover.
However, there are 4 controls (knobs) on the front whereas piezo models I've googled all have 5 controls.
Could this be a 2EQ piezo bass? Never seen one before, I thought piezo Stingrays only come with 3EQ electronics.
Also serial # suggests its 2001 bass, electronics are dated 2006, so possibly electronics are not original.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like somebody swapped the Piezo electronics and bridge with a common 3EQ electronics and standard bridge. And the neck pocket has cracks on both sides. Way to go to remove the neck on an almost new bass...
    Have bass. Will play.

749 isnt that bad for price. if i was in your situation i would contact the seller. he has 100% positive so i guess you should be able to work something out. afterall, the bass could be 5 years older than he said it is...
get that verified by posting the serial in the serial thread that is in the sticky dept at the top and youll have a better foundation to base further actions upon

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!
