In Switzerland, a Sterling by MM Ray34 goes for >$1500.

You can buy and import a used US EBMM on eBay for considerably less.

In Canada, Sterling by MM goes for $699. Used made in US MM basses go for $1000-$1200. New MM goes for $1450++.

So, I have never seen a used made in US MM go as low as a new Sterling by MM. Maybe that's not the case across the pond?

The SBMM's are about £600, you could get a used ray for £650, sometimes less, sometimes more.

Reminds me of something funny...every time I go to Switzerland on business, I buy my Swiss souvenirs for my family in Toronto when I get back. Swiss goods are way cheaper in Canada than in Switzerland.

But wow...1500 Swiss Franks for a SBMM...thats more than double!
