    and i must say, i dunno who made the best deal of the 2 of you.. one one hand an autumn redburst is rare, whilst the bongo with tri-pickup system should be one mean machine soundwise...

    trussrod adjustment:

    less relief / flatter = lower action
    more relief / bow = higher action
    do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
    also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

    Sorry to ressurect this...

    Erin, I must have completely missed this thread before - sorry about that! I'm glad you like it man, it really is BEAUTIFUL. Just seeing that picture makes me sad...I will have another one at some point. I will.

    The tape...well the tape was necessary, as the box was...ah who am I kidding, the tape was in no way necessary, I just hate the thought of someone gettnig into it during transit. The woman at the till when I bought it all looked at me very strangely...so I bought a Snickers as well.

    Let me say though, the Bongo HHp is immense, and I am happy to have done this trade. But when I see the Sparkles...I just can't stop looking at them. I have sat down for about an hour before just moving it in the light, getting every single sparkle...

    Indeed. I would pay really big money for a Big AL 5 string or Reflex 5 in Autumn Sunrise. Isn't it about time there is a bass that has a color that is only available on one bass and that isn't available to the guitar players?

    Erin, Autumn Redrise is the absolute best finish, I had a JP in that color and like a dope I sold it.
