My mind is blown. It is strange to look at and not see that big pickguard, but with the bridge and the 3 band plate it works. I think I would still rather have the 4. That Blue with the tort gaurd and white pickup is so hot!

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

I'm selling all of my vintage basses so I can buy 2 or 3 of the new 5 stringers that have just hit.

BP, that Classic White SR5 with the Tort pickguard is super sweet! I gotta get me one of them!

This is just crazy. I thought I had seen it all, but... WOW!

One question came to mind while watching these pic's. This Stingray5 classic, is 99% classic. The pickup shape is not. Is there any reason for the non uh.. argh, how do i say this in english. The side were the 2 screws are. On a SR4 it is with 2 round things and a empty space in the middle. This pickup, like the Stingray 5/Sterling 5, doesnt have that, the more modern look. Why is that?

    Cool stuff nevertheless
