Thanks for the samples. I am new to Ernie Ball Stingray basses and I am learning the technical aspects of the preamp and the cut and boost settings. This was very helpful.

Awesome! Still listening ....would love to hear a pre earni stingray a/b d against these with the same convertors...that would be killer! Youtube demos of the late 70s and 80s are not so good........

I did already record a pre-EB 'Ray and a couple of Sabres. But never came around to mixing them down -- problem is also that I converted from Logic to Cubase and need to set up the project from scratch...

Will try to fit that into my schedule, ASAP

Thx for the good work! Pre-EB 'ray would be nice.. Maple/RW and fretless.
