The man can play some bass! I don't remember being so impressed by a bassist in a looong time.

All the basses sound sweet, but the bongos really are something else.

Damn, Volverine sure can play some bass
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

I like that he did the clips within the context of a band. Really shows how versatile the basses are!

that stealth bongo demo is the best ive seen in quite a while!

and those sideburns sure are massive.. very suitable for demoing the mighty bongo!

    MrM
just put flats on the bongo!!
just put roundwounds on your fretless!!

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

Of all the clips (thank you) - the Stealth Bongo really seemed to cut through and stand-out the best (to my ears). Nice!

These are excellent reviews. I really enjoyed how he played along to tracks to give you a more useful demonstration of the tones. His playing was excellent!
