I just emailed customer service this AM to order one. I've always wanted one for my 2002 SR4.

EDIT: Cool! I just spoke with A.J. and I'm gonna pick up mine on Thursday morning when I'm in SLO.

I just got two white covers last week. I put one on the trans teal '99 but have opted against putting the other one on the '77. Here's a not-so-great shot from a gig last week. While I've never been a fan of black SRs, this shot makes me realize how cool the white cover would look on one.

If I recall correctly, you can't order a pickup cover for a SR5, because the cover is glued onto the pickup. If you want a different pickup cover you'll have to replace the entire pickup.

In order to do this you would have to contact Customer Service and make arrangements through them, because the old pickup must be returned to them before they'll send you the new one.

Wouldn't you just flip the cover 180 degrees so the single- and double-screw holes line up where they need to be?

    Or did I miss a tongue-in-cheek remark...

    Hi guys

    Old thread, sorry.

Is it easy to replace these?

Just screw the black off and put the white on?

    Im guessing they aint glued?

Movielife... very easy to swap out. Basically loosen strings, remove pickup, swap cover (comes right off), reinstall pickup and retune. Took me about 6 minutes. JOSH
