    My new Sting Ray!

    got it from GC a couple weeks ago. case is already scratched up from gigs




    sorry for crappy iphone pics
    its everything i could have ever imagined! got 0% financing so hopefully my band gets enough gigs within 12 months to pay it off haha

    my only gripe is that GC didnt carry any with matching headstocks

    i was actually gonna get their wine red burst one (whatever that color is lol) but it was their anniversary edition and i didnt need cool inlays for 200$ more. i also was set on a white bass, but after trying a few different ones there, this one just "spoke to me" just played and sounded a little better than the others.

    i need to get some pictures of it now, cuz im in a cover band and after another month or so im sure this thing will have plenty of dings and scratches and beer spilled all over it haha

    Never seen an SR5 that colour before - looks great. Bet it sounds as good as well. Nice bass.
